SolutionS Management Team consists of Don Schothorst, Rob Barnstijn en Mario de Wit. SolutionS Management Team consists of Don Schothorst, Rob Barnstijn and Mario de Wit. The three-man team is responsible for the development and strategy of the company. As MT, they are responsible for policy development, professional standards and the safety of staff and clients. Together, they set up the first private health care institution for addiction problems in the Benelux countries. With this, they laid the foundation for a different view on addiction care and treatment.

Don Schothorst has first-hand experience with the destructive impact of an addiction; the inability to strike a balance, so that you let your life be run by alcohol and cocaine. After numerous failed attempts to kick the habit, he eventually underwent intensive therapy in of the top clinics in England. There were a few relapses, before he was truly freed from his addiction. During this process, his was the battle of pain, fear, helpless and desperation that is so typical of this disease. For this reason, Don is the perfect sparring-partner.

Team

The team of professionals at SolutionS consists of counsellors as well as psychiatrists, physicians, psychologists and psychotherapists. All of them are specialists in the domain of addiction. In addition to offering drugs and alcohol expertise, some of the experts are also specialised in gambling, sex and prescription drugs addictions and eating disorders. The necessary knowledge can be called on at any given time.

All clients get their own key counsellor who will be responsible for the details of their treatment plan. The counsellor always knows exactly what is going on and what arrangements have been made. Furthermore, the counsellor is the contact for relatives and other loved ones. If the client is admitted to one of the partner clinics abroad, he will not only be assigned a key counsellor, but a case manager within SolutionS as well. The case manager will then be the person who knows all about the procedures and who will ensure that information is passed on to the right person. The case manager will then be the contact for relatives and other loved ones.
